I have had many requests for the travelers to serve pizza on Monday the 23rd at conferences. I will take care of:
Following are some things that I could use some help with. Please leave a comment if you can/will do any of the following. Be sure to check existing comments to see what is already being taken care of.
Thank you for all the amazing help at the Whopper Feed on Friday! We will do another one during Rebel Relays. I will get back to you with a date as soon as I find out when it is. :)
We will kick off a frozen food fundraiser on February 9th with orders due on February 23rd and delivery on March 26th.
February 23rd is also conferences. Do we want to sell pizza again or do something different? I know the teachers really appreciate having food there during that long day. Send your thoughts my way.
Keep reminding people about our Schwan's fundraiser. Our campaign goes for a year. We will get a smaller percentage for the rest of the year but every dollar counts!

Whopper Feed - January 30, 2015 will be a Whopper Feed. We will set up at 4:30 pm and serve until 8:00 pm. Clean up should be completed by 8:30 pm. We will have 2 shifts (4:30-6:30, and 6:30-8:30). We will need 7-8 workers per shift. Thank you to those of you who have already let me know which shift you can work. Each traveler will need to bring a pan of pre-wrapped bars either to my room at school that day or to the wresting room by 4:30.
Frozen Food/Bake-ware Sales - Our Frozen Food sale kickoff will be on February 9, 2015. Orders will be due on February 23, 2015 (parent/teacher conferences day) with delivery scheduled for March 6, 2015. This has typically been a really good fundraiser for students who get out and sell. The food is good and sells itself and the bake-ware is excellent quality and all comes with lids.
Parent/Teacher Conferences - Do we want to sell food at conferences again? Conferences are February 23, 2015 from 12:30-7:30 pm. It doesn't bring in a lot of money, but every dollar helps. I'd love to know your thoughts.

I received a call from EF Tours informing me of a tournament taking place in France during the dates of our trip. The Euro Cup is a championship for men's national football teams organized by UEFA. The Euro Cup is scheduled to be held in France from June 10 to July 10 in the summer of 2016. The dates for the Euro Cup to be in Paris correspond with our dates to be there. The tour company has suggested that we change the dates of our trip to avoid being in Paris at the same time as the Euro Cup. It's still a year and a half away, and already the closest hotels to Paris that we can reserve are two and a half hours away. She also gave us the option of picking a different tour that isn't in Paris at that time. Please go to this survey link and let me know your preference.
Donations: Just a reminder that all travelers have a personal tour donations page through EF Tours. This can be found on their traveler website under “Your Donation Page.” I've attached a document with information about this option . This is a great resource with the holidays upon us to have friends and family donate to their tour.
More Donations: Schwan's has a donation program that we can utilize. Here is a link to how it works.
We need everyone to help spread the word about our campaign. Put it on your Facebook page, tweet it out, tell people you know, etc. The more people we can get the word out to, the better our campaign will do. Our campaign, once approved, will run from Dec 23-Feb 6th. Thanks go to Chris Huso for finding this opportunity and sharing it. This link will tell you how people can support our campaign. https://www.schwans-cares.com/campaigns/17978-mcc-culture-club-trip-2016/how_to_support
